2 What’s & A Who

“Your input determines your outcome.”
For every performer your results are directly aligned with the ‘inputs’ in your life. If you have undesirable outcomes, you have been living with unhealthy inputs. What the highest performers do is they do NOT put their focus into the outcomes or results. They put their focus into the inputs, their habits, routines, and daily systems.

Here’s a tip on how to manage your ‘input’ better:

“2 What’s & A Who”

Ask yourself these 3 questions:

1. What do you consume?

What you consume shapes what you think and how you do things. “You conform to what you consume." If you spend too much time watching the news, on social media, or listening to negative narrative you’ll become what you ‘consume.’ Elite individuals are extremely intentional with what they allow into their minds, such as: books, podcasts, coaching, mentors, etc.

2. What do you attempt?

To grow means that you’re either doing: 1) more of it or 2) something different than normal. As I say to my high performers all the time, “be comfortable being uncomfortable.” There is no growth with discomfort so train your brain to view discomfort in a more positive, optimistic way.

3. Who do you surround yourself with?

“You are the average of your 5 closest friends” or “Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future.” For you to grow and develop find others that are better, smarter, more experienced, more successful than you.
